This time when I came to Guangzhou to explore the old city area, I specifically chose the location of Guangzhou Hotel - Haizhu square metro station & close to Beijing road as my starting point. Originally, I only hoped for its convenient location at the intersection of the two subway lines, but unexpectedly, staying for three consecutive days became the most practical and unexpected gain of my trip to Guangzhou.

The bed is just right in terms of softness and hardness. As someone like me who feels tired from a day of sightseeing and has sore feet, I can sleep soundly with a pillow.
The most enjoyable thing about living here is its location. It takes only three minutes to walk downstairs to Haizhu Square, and five minutes to turn onto Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. You can find beef offal, bowl cakes, and roasted meat shops under the arcade in just a few steps, without having to squeeze on the subway and travel long distances to find food. If you want to visit Shamian and Sacred Heart Cathedral, you can take the subway for one or two stops directly without wasting time stuck on the road during peak hours. I wandered until late at night and wanted to go back to the hotel. I walked along the sidewalk by the river for more than ten minutes, blowing the river breeze and looking at the lights on both sides. Even the exhaustion of a whole day of wandering had dissipated.
The most striking thing is the old-fashioned warmth hidden in the details of the old hotel. The 24-hour lobby service desk can provide free warm herbal tea at any time. After wandering the streets and sweating profusely, drinking a cup instantly makes you feel comfortable all over. Once, while strolling in an old alley, I accidentally left my mobile phone with my attraction reservation code outside.
